Our Story
Lindel Studio began with an observation. So much of women's footwear in Australia revolves around black, beige, and the usual neutrals.
When you want something with more colour, there isn't always an obvious place to turn to.
We wanted to change that by creating a destination that makes it easier for you to find something beyond the usual, giving you more choice and freedom to choose what feels like you.
Born and based in Sydney, we're starting with one familiar style in four colours. Welcome to our beginning.
Our Approach to Colour
You won’t find black or beige shoes here.
But that doesn’t mean colour for colour’s sake. We’re drawn to shades that feel considered, refined and easy to wear. Colours with personality that still have a place in your everyday wardrobe.
For us, it’s about finding the space between the expected and the overly bold. Something a little more interesting, without feeling like too much.
Beyond the Shoes
More than just a place for shoes, we envision Lindel Studio as a space that celebrates creativity and the artists and makers who see the possibilities in colour as much as we do.
To mark our very first collection, we commissioned artist Antonia Kennedy to create an original artwork featuring the four colours of the Aura Mary Jane.
With every order, you’ll receive the artwork as a 5 × 7 inch fine art print that doubles as a thank-you card. Designed to live beyond the packaging, it’s a small piece of the collection to keep, frame, pin up or find a little corner for at home.
